Summary
This study tests whether taking a vitamin B3-like supplement (nicotinamide riboside) combined with brisk walking twice a week can lower blood pressure in post-menopausal women with early-stage hypertension. 112 women will be randomly assigned to one of four groups: supplement plus walking, supplement only, walking only, or placebo. The trial lasts 10 weeks and measures blood pressure and blood markers of vascular health.
