NCT ID NCT07017634

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new material called Novosis Putty used during spinal fusion surgery for people with degenerative disc disease in the lower back. The putty is meant to help the bones fuse together more successfully. About 316 adults who have not improved with other treatments will be randomly assigned to receive either the new putty or a standard bone graft. The main goal is to see if the putty leads to better fusion, less pain, and fewer complications over 12 months.
