AI-Powered heart scan study aims to define normal heart coupling

NCT ID NCT07292896

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study will measure a new heart function index called the Right Atrioventricular Coupling Index (RACI) in healthy adults and people with certain heart conditions. Using AI-enhanced 3D ultrasound, researchers hope to establish what is normal and see if RACI can help diagnose or predict problems in patients with pulmonary hypertension, heart failure, and other heart diseases. About 2,640 participants will be enrolled across multiple centers in China.
