First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks for unique proteins in urine and blood that can tell apart different types of kidney cancer without needing a biopsy. Researchers will test stored urine samples and collect blood before and after kidney removal surgery in 300 high-risk patients. The goal is to develop a noninvasive test to classify kidney tumors and predict if cancer will spread after surgery.
