Researchers gather brain injury data to build better monitoring tools

NCT ID NCT04548596

Summary

This study collected detailed brain monitoring data from 162 patients with various brain injuries to build a database for future research. Participants had existing pressure monitors, and researchers used a noninvasive ultrasound device to record blood flow signals. The goal was to gather information that could help develop better, noninvasive ways to monitor brain pressure in the future.
