Could a simple test replace surgery for endometriosis diagnosis?

NCT ID NCT07570225

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study aims to develop a non-invasive diagnostic test for endometriosis, a painful condition affecting 1 in 10 women. Researchers will combine AI-enhanced ultrasound with blood, saliva, and tissue markers to detect the disease without surgery. 365 women aged 18-45 with suspected or confirmed endometriosis will participate. If successful, this approach could reduce diagnostic delays and avoid the need for invasive procedures.
