New IVF test aims to pick best embryo without touching it

NCT ID NCT04000152

Summary

This study tested a new, non-invasive method to help select the best embryo for transfer during IVF. Researchers wanted to see if analyzing the leftover fluid an embryo grew in could predict its health as well as a standard, more invasive biopsy. The goal was to improve pregnancy rates for people struggling with infertility.
