No more brain surgery for pressure checks? new device trial underway

Summary
This study is testing a new device that aims to measure pressure inside the skull without needing surgery. Researchers will compare readings from the new, non-invasive device to those from the current surgical method in 581 patients with brain injuries or conditions. The goal is to develop a safer way to monitor brain pressure that avoids the risks of infection and pain associated with drilling into the skull.
