First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at how tiny air pollution particles and noise affect heart health in people aged 45-64 living in Kaunas City. It also tests if daily walks in green spaces or following a Mediterranean diet can improve health markers. About 180 participants will wear a wristband sensor for a week and have blood pressure, waist size, and blood tests taken. The goal is to find practical ways to reduce heart and metabolic disease risks from environmental exposures.
