First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether reducing noise during the start of anesthesia (when patients are going to sleep) can improve recovery after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. 105 adults having planned surgery were included. Researchers measured pain, nausea, vomiting, vital signs, and how quickly patients woke up. The goal was to see if a calmer, quieter environment leads to better outcomes.
