Major registry launches to map mysterious neurological disease

This study is creating a large registry of 800+ patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) to better understand how the disease progresses over time and how treatments work in real-world settings. Researchers will track patients' experiences, treatments, and quality of life through regular surveys and medical records. The goal is to gather information that can help improve care and identify patterns in how NMOSD affects different people.
