Donor immune cells take on brain melanoma in new trial

Summary

This study tests a new treatment for advanced melanoma that has spread to the brain. It combines chemotherapy (temozolomide) with specially grown immune cells from a healthy donor (called NK cells). The goal is to see if this combination is safe and can shrink brain tumors. About 30 people with stage IV melanoma and brain metastases will take part.
