Summary
This study tested whether a combination of two immunotherapy drugs (nivolumab and ipilimumab) works better than standard chemotherapy for Chinese patients with advanced pleural mesothelioma, a rare cancer of the lung lining. 102 patients who could not have surgery were randomly assigned to receive either the immunotherapy combo or chemotherapy. The main goal was to see if the immunotherapy helped patients live longer. The study is now complete.
