New hope for brain metastases? drug niraparib under study

Summary
This study tests the drug niraparib in 20 people whose cancer has spread to the brain or central nervous system (CNS). The goal is to see if the drug can shrink or control these brain tumors. Participants must have mild or no symptoms from their brain metastases and not need increasing steroids or seizure meds for at least a week before starting.
