Summary
This study tests whether adding an immunotherapy drug (sintilimab) to short-course radiation and chemotherapy can improve long-term survival in people with a common type of locally advanced rectal cancer (MSS type). About 130 adults aged 18-75 with stage II/III rectal cancer will be randomly assigned to receive the new combination or standard treatment. The goal is to see if the immune-boosting approach helps keep the cancer from coming back.
