Race against time: new test could spot deadly sepsis faster in ER
NCT ID NCT06178822
Summary
This study aims to find new blood markers that can help doctors diagnose sepsis more quickly and accurately when patients arrive at the emergency room with suspected infections. Researchers will follow 3,300 patients to compare immune responses in those with and without sepsis, and track long-term recovery. The goal is to develop better tools for early detection, which could lead to faster treatment and better outcomes.
