New brain scan could predict cancer treatment success
NCT ID NCT05376878
Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET/MRI scan to see if it can help doctors better understand and predict how well a standard breast cancer treatment will work when the cancer has spread to the brain. Researchers will give the scan to 10 women with this specific type of advanced breast cancer. The main goal is to see if the scan can show whether the cancer in the brain will respond to the planned chemotherapy drug.
