First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a new radioactive tracer called [18F]-αvβ6-BP for PET scans in 20 adults with non-small cell lung cancer that has spread to the brain. The goal is to see if this scan can find cancer spots better than current methods like MRI or standard PET scans. Participants will have one or more PET scans, and results will be compared to tumor tissue samples. This is an early-phase study focused on improving detection, not treatment.
