Could a double nerve block slash surgery pain?

NCT ID NCT07388953

Summary

This study is testing a new pain management strategy for people having minimally invasive colon surgery. Researchers will compare a combination of two targeted nerve blocks against standard pain medication to see if it better reduces pain and the need for opioid drugs in the first two days after surgery. The goal is to help patients recover more comfortably with fewer side effects from strong painkillers.
