NCT ID NCT02091518

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing new ways to perform MRI scans to see if they can produce better images than current methods. About 662 healthy volunteers and patients will undergo MRI scans using both standard and experimental techniques. The goal is to find out whether these new methods improve image quality and help radiologists make more confident diagnoses.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could lead to better MRI scans that help doctors see more detail and make more accurate diagnoses.

What could go wrong

This is an early-stage, observational study focused on feasibility, not treatment. The new MRI methods may not show clear benefits over standard scans.
