Summary
This study tested a new endoscopic procedure that aims to regenerate the lining of the small intestine to help control type 2 diabetes. Researchers enrolled 20 adults whose diabetes wasn't well-controlled on 2-3 non-insulin medications. The main goal was to check if the procedure was safe and feasible, while also monitoring blood sugar levels and weight over 48 weeks of follow-up.
