Tiny heart implant offers hope for unexplained chest pain

NCT ID NCT07449325

Summary

This early study is testing a small, self-expanding device called the A-FLUX Reducer. It is implanted in a vein near the heart to see if it can safely reduce chest pain in people with coronary microvascular dysfunction, a condition where tiny heart vessels don't work properly. The study will enroll about 30 adults who still have significant chest pain despite taking their current heart medications.
