New scan could sharpen cancer detection
NCT ID NCT06715839
Summary
This study is testing new radioactive tracer chemicals for PET/CT scans to see if they can better detect and monitor cancers of the digestive system, including stomach, colon, liver, and pancreatic cancer. About 400 adults with confirmed or suspected digestive cancer will receive a scan with the new tracer. Researchers will measure how well the tracer highlights tumors and whether the scan results help doctors make better treatment decisions.
