First patients receive experimental cancer drug in groundbreaking trial

Summary
This is the first human trial testing a new cancer drug called AVZO-1418. Researchers want to find the safest dose and see if it can shrink tumors in adults with advanced solid cancers that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The study will test the drug alone and possibly with other treatments in up to 430 participants.
