Scientists test Triple-Threat drug cocktail in fight against advanced skin cancer

Summary
This study is testing a new three-drug combination to see if it works better than the current two-drug standard for treating advanced melanoma with a specific BRAF gene mutation. The trial aims to find the safest dose and see if adding a third drug (navitoclax) helps shrink tumors more effectively. It is for adults whose cancer has spread or cannot be removed by surgery.
