Scientists to peek inside brain's immune response after major stroke surgery

Summary

This study looks at immune activity in the brain of people who had a severe stroke and needed surgery to relieve pressure. Researchers will compare these patients to others having brain surgery for different reasons. The goal is to better understand the body's inflammatory response after a major stroke. 90 adults will take part.
