Summary
This study tested whether neurotropin, a drug that may protect nerves, can reduce the nerve damage caused by oxaliplatin chemotherapy in people with stage II or III colorectal cancer. The trial included 333 participants who had surgery and were about to start chemotherapy. Researchers compared neurotropin to a placebo to see if it lowered the chance of severe nerve problems and helped patients complete their full chemo course.
