First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a 12-session parenting program can change brain activity in mothers recovering from opioid use disorder. Researchers will use EEG to measure brain responses to baby faces and cries before and after the program. The goal is to see if supporting the mother-infant bond can help recovery. The study involves 15 mothers with infants aged 4–12 months who are on medication for opioid use disorder.
