Scientists uncover immune clues in pregnancy complication

NCT ID NCT05470712

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how certain immune cells (neutrophils) form web-like structures in women with preeclampsia compared to those with normal pregnancies. Researchers analyzed stored blood samples from 26 women to understand two different ways these webs are made. The goal was to learn more about the biology of preeclampsia, not to test a new treatment.
