Zap to the pelvis: new trial tests electric shocks to treat ED

NCT ID NCT06397625

Summary

This study is testing whether a treatment called peripheral nerve stimulation can help men with erectile dysfunction (ED). Researchers are using a small needle to deliver electrical pulses to a specific nerve in the pelvis (the pudendal nerve) to see if it improves the ability to get and maintain an erection. They are measuring changes in erectile function, sexual confidence, and overall quality of life over three months.
