First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new way to inject numbing medicine directly into a specific nerve root to find out which nerve is causing back and leg pain. The goal is to see if this method is safer and more accurate than current techniques. About 80 adults with sciatica who are scheduled for back surgery will take part. The approach uses 3D CT scans to guide the injection precisely.
