Summary

This trial tests whether adding neural mobilization—a gentle, controlled leg movement technique—to standard manual therapy can improve pain, function, and quality of life in people with lumbar disc herniation and sciatica. About 72 adults aged 18–65 with unilateral leg symptoms will receive either manual therapy plus neural mobilization or manual therapy plus a sham version, over three weeks. Researchers will measure changes in disability, pain, quality of life, inflammatory markers, and skin temperature patterns to see if the nerve-focused approach offers extra benefits.
