Study links neck disability to limited motion in pinched nerve patients

NCT ID NCT07152522

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 80 adults with cervical radiculopathy (a pinched nerve in the neck) to see how their level of neck disability relates to their ability to move their neck in different directions. Researchers measured range of motion in six directions and compared it to disability categories. The goal is to identify which movements are most affected and help guide future treatment.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If the findings are clear, this could help doctors better understand which neck movements are most limited by cervical radiculopathy, potentially guiding future rehabilitation.

What could go wrong

This is a small, observational study that only looks for associations, not cause and effect. The results may not apply to all patients with cervical radiculopathy.
