Could a special diet boost rectal cancer treatment?

Summary
This study tests whether adding a special medical food that restricts certain amino acids (NEAAR) to standard cancer therapy (radiation and chemotherapy) is safe and tolerable for people with locally advanced rectal cancer. About 30 adults will participate. The goal is to see if this diet can help improve treatment response without causing severe side effects.
