Could a common drug improve blood vessel health in diabetes?

Summary

This study tests whether the drug sodium phenylbutyrate (NaPB) can improve blood pressure and blood vessel function in people with diabetes and in healthy volunteers. About 30 adults aged 18 to 60 will take part. The goal is to see if NaPB can help ease blood vessel problems linked to diabetes.
