Summary

This study is testing whether listening to music before or during hernia surgery helps reduce pain afterwards and decreases the need for strong pain medications. Researchers are enrolling 308 adults having hernia repair to compare different music timing against no music. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free approach can make recovery more comfortable.
