First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether listening to calming instrumental music before and after a type of prostate surgery (called AEEP) can help men feel less anxious and have less pain. A total of 135 men took part; half listened to music during their hospital stay, while the other half received standard care. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free approach could improve comfort and recovery.
