Summary

This study looks at whether learning music improvisation can help older adults (60+) better regulate their thoughts and actions. Researchers will compare improvisation training to other activities in 238 participants with or without mild memory problems. The goal is to see if this type of music training leads to positive changes in brain networks and daily cognitive skills.
