First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether listening to music can help reduce pain and stress during the non-surgical treatment of a broken wrist. About 192 adults will be randomly assigned to hear their favorite music, a therapist-chosen song, or no music at all. Researchers will measure pain levels and heart rate before and after the procedure to see if music makes a difference.
