NCT ID NCT07476820

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether listening to music can help lower anxiety in people having surgery for the first time. Researchers will measure heart rate, blood pressure, and anxiety levels in 90 adults. Some will choose their own music, others will listen to a standard playlist, and a third group will have no music. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to ease pre-surgery stress.
