First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether resistance training can improve muscle mass, strength, and physical performance in middle-aged and older adults with sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). 40 participants completed a strength training program, and their results were compared to those who received nutritional supplements in an earlier study. The goal was to see if exercise alone could help manage or reverse sarcopenia.
