Tiny muscle samples could lead to big breakthroughs for kids with CP

NCT ID NCT06584851

First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how muscles grow and change in children with cerebral palsy (CP) by examining tiny muscle samples and comparing them to imaging scans. Researchers want to understand why muscles develop differently in CP and how treatments affect them. The goal is to find better ways to help children move and function. About 130 children with CP will take part, along with some typically developing children for comparison.
