First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at how making the calf muscle tired changes its stiffness and how high people can jump. 28 healthy adults aged 18-25 did a special exercise to tire their calf, and their muscle properties and jump height were measured right after and again 24 hours later. The goal was to understand how muscle fatigue affects performance and recovery.
