Alzheimer's patients try sensory therapy to ease symptoms and caregiver stress

Summary

This study tests whether a special therapy using lights, sounds, textures, and smells can help people with moderate Alzheimer's disease. 24 older adults and their caregivers will take part in 8 sessions over 4 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in thinking, behavior, and how stressed the caregiver feels.
