Brain scans aim to predict MS drug success
NCT ID NCT02904876
First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether special MRI scans can detect early changes in the brains of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) taking the drug Tysabri. Researchers planned to follow 70 adults with relapsing-remitting MS for two years, comparing brain scans before and after starting treatment. The goal was to find MRI markers that could predict how well a person responds to Tysabri. However, the study was terminated early, so results are limited.
