MRI scans reveal hidden clues in complex knee fractures

NCT ID NCT07481929

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 77 adults with a specific type of knee fracture (Schatzker IV) to see if MRI and CT scans could predict which fractures also involve a dislocation. Researchers compared imaging features between those with and without dislocation. The goal was to help surgeons better plan treatment by identifying injury patterns that increase dislocation risk.
