New scan could predict heart risk in kidney patients
NCT ID NCT06698614
Summary
This study is testing a special type of MRI scan to see if it can help doctors predict which patients with kidney disease are most likely to develop serious heart problems. Researchers will scan the hearts and kidneys of 120 people with different kidney conditions, including recent injury, transplants, and chronic disease. The goal is to find a better way to identify patients at high risk for future heart and kidney complications.
