First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study tracks 240 adults with essential tremor that doesn't improve with medication. They will receive a non-invasive procedure called MR-guided focused ultrasound, which uses sound waves to target the brain area causing tremors. Researchers will check if tremor control lasts at least 3 years and monitor safety and quality of life.
