Summary
This study tests a new device called MOTUS that replaces a worn-out joint in the lower back. It involves 158 adults aged 21-80 with lumbar spine degeneration. The goal is to see if this joint replacement works as well as the standard spinal fusion surgery for reducing pain and improving function.
