Summary

This study tests an investigational drug called MOTS-c in 120 adults with prediabetes and overweight or obesity. Participants will receive either MOTS-c or a placebo for 12 weeks, along with lifestyle advice. The goal is to see if MOTS-c improves how the body uses insulin and lowers blood sugar levels.
